Some houses in this area are overpriced, some are priced just right, and some are priced below market value. That’s why it’s important to work with a broker who knows the sales in the area.

Offering too low can offend the seller and make them hesitant to work with you, especially in competitive areas like Beverly Hills and L.A. Instead, offer something that’s reasonable based on your budget and your broker’s opinion. Don’t give away the farm on the first offer, but show that you’re serious about the home.
